The World Association of Trainees in Obstetrics & Gynecology is a non-profit organization that represents the first worldwide network of young obstetricians and gynecologists.

It was founded on the 7th of October 2012 under the auspices of the International Federation of Gynecologists and Obstetricians (FIGO) and with the support of major international senior societies (ACOG, SOGC, EEBCOC, COGA, FOGSI and FLASOG). On that day, 51 trainee representatives from 73 countries unanimously supported its founding.
